Pressed Leaves

This weekend I dragged out one of my books on blogging. I guess I needed some inspiration, because posting every day has left me feeling like I'm not being creative enough. To my surprise, I opened the book only to find beautiful, wine colored, pressed leaves in the index. Obviously the last time I dragged this book out was last fall when the leaves were turning color and falling to the ground. It is rare when I can resist picking up beautiful leaves and other tokens from nature. I love their shapes, colors and texture.  So the book did provide inspiration after all, albeit it was the index page. :-)
